Michael Sarian

Michael Sarian is a seasoned leader in the healthcare sector, currently serving as Chairman and CEO of Healthcare Systems of America (HSA), where he leads efforts to transform underperforming hospitals into efficient, community-focused institutions. With over 30 years in healthcare, his experience spans executive roles including CEO of multiple hospitals, CFO positions, and oversight of multi-hospital and multispecialty medical group operations.

Before his role at HSA, Sarian held a prominent position as President of Hospital Operations at Prime Healthcare, managing operations for 45 hospitals across 15 states. Under his leadership, eight of these hospitals were recognized among the “Top 100 Hospitals” in the United States. His career has seen him at the helm of various organizations, such as Prospect/Alta Hospital System and Heritage Medical Group, focusing on financial management, healthcare operations, and enhancing patient care quality.

Sarian’s commitment extends beyond his professional achievements. He has served on the boards of the California Hospital Association and the Southern California Hospital Association.
